Iluminal Review: Does It Truly “Illuminate” The Mind?
Our First Impressions
Iluminal is an energy-boosting product that claims to improve mood and memory, putting users at the optimal condition to fight through demanding days. Their official website seems to be quite informative and we did hear some pretty good things about the product, so we’re eager to find out whether Iluminal will be the next deal breaker. To find out, keep reading!
While Iluminal made a pretty first good impression, a closer look at their website raised a few red flags. There is an option on the menu tab called “Health Care Professionals”, under which the manufacturers have written some pretty interesting claims. Firstly, they claim that “acupuncturists, chiropractors, MDs…” are “raving” about their product – meanwhile there is no real evidence of this. Secondly they have included a quote on the bottom of the page from “Dr. Jim” (this is accompanied by a picture of an anonymous doctor). Since it would be quite difficult to find out who this “Dr. Jim” is without further information about his surname or workplace, we’re going to go ahead and assume that Iluminal has made a little marketing hiccup.
In terms of ingredients Iluminal has done a fantastic job of ensuring that their users are fully aware of the product’s formula. There is a full supplement facts label available on the website (as shown below), which lists all the compounds packed into each capsule as well their respective dosages.
Overall, their formula is adequate but nothing out of the ordinary. They’ve packed in some ALCAR (Acetyl-L-Carnitine) which helps to reduce fatigue and improve overall mental energy. There’s also a bit of 5-HTP which helps with the production of melatonin in the brain (sleep hormone), thereby regulating sleep cycles. Sulbutiamine is the main ingredient when it comes to boosting cognitive function – it helps with the production of dopamine in the brain, thereby improving mood and productivity.
It seemed like this product was talked about very highly when a few of our members here at BrainEnhancementAdvisor.org were discussing about it over lunch. They claimed to feel much more alert after a few days of trying the product, which resulted in an overall improvement of mood. Typically, reduced anxiety and fatigue leads to higher levels of motivation, which makes us work harder and enhances productivity. We hope that other customers have seen similar results.
“I didn’t want to write my reviews here because I wanted to see the full effect of this drug. I wanted to just try a pill that will help me with my studies: to help me focus and give me extra energy. This drug really does what it says. I tried taking it like once every 3days because I am scared I might be addicted to it. Then as the days grow nearer to my exams I tried taking it everyday after I ate my breakfast. I then feel the rush of energy in my entire body. I’m only giving it 4 stars because I tried not taking it and it gave me a terrible headache and bad mood swings. If you want this to work then you must be taking it everyday not missing a dose.” – Lil Gal on Amazon.com
“I am a middle-aged guy who does not work for any type of pharmaceutical company, chemical company, etc. I have no connection with Illuminal whatsoever. I recently took Illuminal for one month. As I recall, I felt okay during the day. But, it didn’t affect me to the point where I consciously said to myself, “Hey, this stuff really works!”. To a certain extent…it quite possibly was doing what it claims to do. But, I did not sense any improvements. And I most certainly can’t and won’t say that “I’ve gotten more done in the last few days than all of the last 5 months combined” as one reviewer stated. That’s a pretty steep claim. Five months of activity crammed into a few days? Really? I will not spend another $40 or whatever on this product, especially since “These claims have not been evaluated by the food & drug administration”. Catch my drift?” – 3rdGen on Amazon.com
For $32.95 you can get yourself a month’s supply of Iluminal. Each bottle comes with 30 capsules and the makers have recommended us to take 1 capsule per day. The low price tag goes with the limited about of ingredients used in the formula so kudos to Iluminal for giving us the opportunity to enjoy their product at a reasonable price!
There’s certainly nothing wrong with Iluminal if you’re looking for a simple, energy and mood-boosting product. Starting your day with 1 capsule of Iluminal could possibly lead to higher energy levels and increased productivity, although certain customers seem to disagree. The price of the product is very reasonable and there are discounts available on their website for those of you who are interested to purchase more than 1 bottle. Iluminal’s formula is satisfactory – half of the ingredients were good choices while the rest were not anything worth raving about. Point being, there are better options out there.
