BioTrust Brain Bright Review: A Formula Worth Looking At
Our First Impressions
There are those of us who live day to day completely oblivious to the factors that are influencing our brain. These people are the ones who end up having no focus or memory at the end of their days, and more importantly, the ones who did not achieve their goals and thus have nothing to be proud of. Simple reason is that they never took the time to improve on themselves.
Taking nootropic supplements to not only boost your cognitive abilities but to also protect them from long-term deterioration is the first and most vital step everyone should take. BioTrust is a supplement company that has recently come up with a new product called Brain Bright. Brain Bright is a brain-enhancing supplement that can help with memory, focus and mental alertness. Even if you’re not a very health conscious person because you can’t be bothered with the high maintenance, spending 5 seconds each day to take a nootropic supplement is not too demanding. Due to our passion for nootropics, we are aware that we have standards that many companies have difficulty meeting. Will Brain Bright impress us or just be another trashy product?
BioTrust is a nutrition brand “committed to excellence, integrity, and giving back.” We can say that this claim is true to a certain extent because after coming across a consumer review which outlined negative experiences tied to Brain Bright, the Director of BioTrust directly responded to the customer to ensure that the company is completely committed to taking care of the case. We are glad to see that BioTrust cares about customer satisfaction and is available for contact should you find any problems regarding your purchase.
Brain Bright’s website offers an FAQ bit at the end of their page and one of the questions outlines the product’s ingredients and dosages. Each serving of Brain Bright includes the following ingredients: Riboflavin 8 mg, Vitamin B6 20 mg, Folate 800 mcg, Vitamin B12 500 mcg, Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract 240 mg, Rhodiola Rosea extract 200 mg, N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine 500 mg, Acetyl-L-Carnitine 500 mg, L-Theanine 100 mg, and BioPerine 5 mg.
Just off of first impressions, we can already tell that the amount of each ingredient included is right where it should be. This is a very important point to consider, because many companies like to knock off a few hundred mg’s just to lower their production cost. With Brain Bright, this is not the case. For example, you need about 500-1000 mg of ALCAR (Acetyl-L-Carnitine) to feel any real results in terms of cognitive enhancement, and each serving of Brain Bright contains 1000 mg of it! Also, Vitamin B12 in low doses is only appropriate for those who want to maintain brain health rather than boost it. A dosage of 500 mcg is the perfect quantity to improve mental alertness and energy.
Other highlights in the formula include:
Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract – this herb can be used to improve the brain’s functions in several aspects. For instance, some find luck with ginkgo biloba after seeing results in terms of memory. Others, however, find that ginkgo is most useful to improve focus and concentration.
Rhodiola rosea – this bad boy is great for improving mental energy. It may also work to enhance memory and focus, but there continues to be insufficient evidence to prove this.
L-Theanine – if you’re a loyal reader then you may already know by now that we love L-Theanine! Why? Simple, it relaxes the mind without sedating it. You would feel lowered levels of anxiety and better abilities to focus without getting that sleepy sensation.
We were quite happy with how we felt after trying Brain Bright, but we’re not confident enough to say that we received its full benefits. The reason is probably because we didn’t try the product for long enough. Remember that short-term results differ from that of the long-term. When trying a new product, you should always continue for 90 days before making a conclusive judgment.
So how was our experience on Brain Bright? Well, it’s certainly not what Superman uses to get his superpowers, but then again we were never expecting to see such spectacular results. We did feel an improvement in focus and productivity, which is typically quite rare! Some nootropics really wake you up and get your brain pumping, but only a few can get you to a level where you’re concentrated and ready to tackle the day’s work. Brain Bright managed to do that for us.
“I want to use biotrust brain bright for improving my memory.” – R.Prabhakar Rao on HealthyAndFitZone.com.
“This product is like many others and does not work for your memory problems.” – Walt, Vidor on HighYa.com.
One bottle of Brain Bright costs $49.00, but the manufacturers do recommend that you get their 3-bottle or 6-bottle packages. The latter options will be much kinder to your wallet, so if you’re shopping under a budget that’s something you should consider. The recommended dose is 2 capsules per day and since the bottle comes with 60 capsules, you will have an entire month’s worth of supply. We liked taking 1 Brain Bright capsule before breakfast and another one before lunch, as this matched the instructions given by Biotrust. If you prefer to take a capsule before dinner that is fine but keep in mind that ingredients such as ALCAR may cause sleeplessness.
Brain Bright is a great product that contains great ingredients. Right from the get-go, we were already impressed by Brain Bright’s supplement facts label, so it didn’t take us long to see good results with concentration and productivity. However, we must say that the ingredients may be a bit too strong for those of you who haven’t tried nootropics before. It’s not a good starter product, and even if you are someone who is passionate about self-development and want to get on the next level, perhaps beginning your journey with a simple nootropic stack like Nova would be better.
