Go Smart with Smart Pill

In today’s competitive and modern society, we are more and more expected to use our minds, rather than our physical strength, as a means of making money. Plus with greater access to information and education, it seems there is always someone who knows more than you. Therefore, being able to think clearly and quickly, being able to engage in an intelligent conversation with numerous people of different interests and ages, and being able to produce fast and impressive results at work can not only be a boost to your moral, but necessary for survival.

Yet what to do when your memory recall just isn’t as fast as others, or when under pressure you freeze and your mind goes blank? The resulting embarrassment can be devastating, and in turn hold you back in your job and social life. Yet you’re looking for something natural, nothing with too harsh of ingredients or chemicals. Well, you’re in luck.

The Only Natural supplement company has a natural brain supplement called Smart Pill that Only Natural claims supports the function of your mind and promotes your overall health.  The Only Natural company was established in 1986 and claims to use raw materials, and also amber glass bottles and double safety seals, all in order to provide natural, safe, and effective products. Moreover, Only Natural claims to be an environmentally-friendly company that uses sustainable and recyclable products in its manufacturing. Its star supplement Smart Pill contains vitamins, certain amino acids, and various natural plants and herbs to provide support for your cognitive function, memory recall and clarity of thoughts.

So what ingredients are in this stellar formula? Well, the first ingredient on the list is ginkgo biloba, which has been used for generations to treat a myriad of aches and pains and illnesses. Science has proven that ginkgo biloba increases blood flow to the brain, reduces pain for those with certain disorders, and aids those with dementia-related memory loss. However, there is as of yet limited proof that ginkgo biloba is the miracle drug that many people claim it is.

Next is ginseng, which has been used for many years for a number of health disorders. However, the two main kinds of ginseng, Asian and American, are used for different ailments and without knowing exactly what kind of ginseng is in Smart Pill, it is difficult for us to evaluate its appropriateness in this supplement. However, both ginkgo biloba and ginseng have their loyal fans, so while serious research into both might be lacking, it might be worth giving them a try.

Next on the list is capsicum, which in this formula is actually cayenne pepper. Capsicum is used to treat various issues, including gastrointestinal issues, heart disease and problems with blood vessels. We didn’t quite understand its purpose in a supplement for mental health, but maybe this is what Only Natural was talking about when it claimed that Smart Pill was useful for promoting our overall health.

One important group of ingredients in Smart Pill is used to calm nerves and promote relaxation. First is L-phenylalanine, which is an essential amino acid used to reduce depression and the effects of ADHD, l-glutamine, which is also used to treat negative thoughts and anxiety, and l-tyrosine, which is an amino acid used to improve memory recall and also reduce depression Next in this group is gotu kola leaf, which has been shown to reduce anxiety in humans when given in high doses, although it is unproved to be effective in the dose level in Smart Pill. However, smaller doses may still be somewhat effective. The final ingredient in this group of relaxation supplements is GABA, which is a neurotransmitter that is essential for the nervous system. GABA, like most of the ingredients in this group, is thought to relieve anxiety and increase an overall sense of well-being.

So far we’re feeling pretty chill, but what will help us focus and give us the drive to concentrate on the task at hand? Well, beside the typical, but important, list of B vitamins which most brain supplements contain, Smart Pill contains folic acid, which is used by both men and women to prevent memory loss. While useful, most humans generally get their daily amount of folic acid from food.

So what else does Smart Pill contain that will help us get in the zone? Next on the list is inositol, which is used to treat panic disorders, and also lecithin, which is used to treat acne and liver disorders. Interestingly enough, we couldn’t really find proof that either has been proven to promote memory or improve concentration.

So far nothing too spectacular stands out in Smart Pill’s formula. That is, until we reached its final two ingredients. Smart Pill contains RNA, yes, the RNA that you learned about in secondary school. RNA stands for ribonucleic acid, which is a chemical compound produced naturally in the body and amongst other things help encode our genes. We didn’t even know it was possible to take RNA as a supplement, so we were eager to do some research on it.

It wasn’t easy finding clear and undeniable evidence that supplementing your diet with a pill form of RNA was beneficial. Some companies that sell RNA for human consumption claim that RNA promotes cellular renewal and integrity and supplementation may support healthy cellular division. While this may be true, we didn’t really see proof that RNA would help us think more easily or more clearly. Moreover, RNA can easily be consumed by eating fish, beans, mushrooms and a variety of other foods, so most people wouldn’t need to supplement their diet. Also, taking too much RNA can cause gout and impair your kidneys.

The final ingredient in Smart Pill is TMG, or trimethylglycine. We were able to find some dubious information on body building sites claiming that TMG helps build muscle, but all we could find was that TMG reduced adipose tissue in pigs, but it didn’t work on humans while eating a low calorie diet.

After going through the ingredients of Smart Pill carefully, we decided that Smart Pill would be more aptly named Chill Pill, since most of the reputable ingredients are meant to calm one’s nerves. Overall, trying out Smart Pill might be useful, although don’t expect any stupendous results.
